At the January 3, 2023 Council meeting there were two omissions made on the 2023 Borough Calendar. The Mayor, Council and staff offered their apologies to the community for leaving two religious holidays off of the calendar. The first one is Ramadan, this Islamic holiday is celebrated from the evening of March 22 to the evening of April 21. The second was Hanukkah, the Jewish holiday is celebrated from sundown December 7 to sundown December 15. Council has authorized a mailing to the community alerting them of the dates.
