Chief Kenneth Felker was hired in February 1991 as a part-time officer. He was sworn in full-time on June 6, 1993. In June of 2000 he was promoted to Corporal and in September 2007 he was promoted to Sergeant. Upon the retirement of Chief Robert Adams in October 2017 he was put in as Officer-in-Charge of the department until March 2018 when he was promoted to Chief of Police. Chief Felker grew up in Collingdale attending Saint Joseph Elementary School and Monsignor Bonner High School. He holds an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Delaware County Community College. Chief Felker is married to his wife Veronica and has two children, Natalie and Kenny.
